Grupo Nutresa reports about fraud attempts through the illegal use of its brand and trade name

Grupo Nutresa reports that ill-natured individuals are illegally using its brand and trade name to defraud third parties through social networks, fraudulent websites, emails and message chains that promote alleged investments in the company, under the promise of receiving dividends and extraordinary returns.

Grupo Nutresa calls on the community to ignore these invitations in which cybercriminals request personal information through fraudulent websites with the promise of later contacting the interested parties. Once they do so, the criminals will ask them for their banking information to perfect the crime.

Although the images and graphic resources used for this fraud are very close to the style and identity of Grupo Nutresa, these are fake pages hosted on servers outside the company under addresses and URLs with abnormal names and parameters.

We ask you to keep in mind:

• Currently the company is NOT promoting third-party investments in Colombia or abroad.
• The company does NOT directly request money to make investments in the company. Any communication suggesting otherwise is false.
• All official information from the company is published exclusively on its website (www.gruponutresa.com) and its official social media profiles.
• It is recommended to always confirm the authenticity of the sources before sharing or acting on any information related to Grupo Nutresa.
• Please carefully check the addresses or URLs of any website that appears suspicious. They usually include strange names and parameters far removed from the company’s own language.

The company calls on the community to be wary of offers that promise extraordinary returns, and to report such fraudulent activities to the company or the competent authorities.
