Initiation of judicial proceedings
24 August, 2016Today, several Chilean companies that are part of the Tresmontes Lucchetti business unit – and subsidiaries of Grupo Nutresa S.A. –filed a lawsuit before Santiago de Chile’s Tax and Customs Courts to contest the Internal Revenue Service’s (Servicio de Impuestos Internos – SII) decision to object to such companies’ 2014 tax returns and to the recognition of effects granted under law to the corporate reorganizations they implemented, thus partially denying the tax refunds that were requested.
