25 Nutresa | Eafit higher education scholarships granted

Grupo Nutresa and Universidad EAFIT held the second scholarship-granting round to award their Nutresa-Eafit access, excellence and leadership academic grants. The purpose of these scholarships is to contribute to the quality of education and to acknowledge young people who are committed to their life project and to the future of their
communities.

After receiving applications from more than 2,000 young people from several Colombian departments (states) and conducting the selection process jointly with Universidad EAFIT, twenty-five students-to-be and their families were acknowledged yesterday as beneficiaries of the scholarships for the class that will start their first semester in

Twenty of these young people were granted access scholarships that will cover the entirety of the registration and tuition fees for undergraduate programs such as Business Administration, Marketing, Urban Design, Mathematical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Process Engineering, Social Communication, Mechanical Engineering, Agronomic Engineering, International Business and Psychology. Additionally, five active Universidad EAFIT students were granted a semester-based scholarship for their
excellence and leadership, which includes full funding for their tuition fees for the next semester (2025-1). These young people join the 44 scholarship recipients who are already taking their program courses.

We are convinced that knowledge is one of the most powerful tools for transforming people’s realities,” stated Carlos Ignacio Gallego Palacio, Grupo Nutresa’s CEO.

This program is part of the new social investments totaling COP 150 billion for the next five
years, which will enable developing capabilities in society to improve the quality of life of
the most vulnerable communities in Colombia.
