Grupo Nutresa participated in the 7 th Sustainability Summit

Our Organization is committed to preserving our planet and to creating connection and conversation opportunities that allow finding new and better paths to making a positive contribution to the clean energy transition, thus enabling a more sustainable future.

On July 17, Grupo Nutresa participated in the 7 th Sustainability Summit, which was organized by Semana and Semana Sostenible and held at the ‘Valle del Pacífico’ convention venue in Cali, along with multiple participants from other Colombian business sectors, including 1,100 attendees and more than 90,000 online viewers. Its objective was to talk about the implementation of sustainable practices, the creation of green jobs and the adoption of sustainable production models.

As part of this event, María Solange Sánchez, our Company’s Environmental Leader, participated in the talk that was titled “contributing to reducing climate change,” addressing topics about responsible consumption, operational eco-efficiency and initiatives centered on slowing down climate change, improving people’s quality of life and mitigating the impact of human activities on the environment.

Scenarios like this invite us to analyze how the global economy is implementing economic growth models that promote the restoration and conservation of the environment and how we can keep contributing as an organization to mitigating climate change and preserving our planet’s biodiversity.
