Together, we contribute to building quality education
19 December, 2024Contributing to school management at education institutions is essential to ensure an adequate and high-quality provision of education services in the territories. Thus, through Fundación Nutresa and in partnership with Corpoeducación, we have joined the Education Quality Improvement Program (abbreviated PROMCE in Spanish) created by the Alquería Foundation with the purpose of contributing to improving school management at 200 education institutions in 93 uncertified municipalities in the Colombian department (state) of Cundinamarca.
The objective of this training and support strategy is to promote a culture based on continuous improvement and strategic thinking, and driven by transformational leadership that contributes to human and social development through education.
This partnership is intended to enhance the institutional capabilities of the schools and to develop leadership skills among academic directors and teachers, thus contributing to building an inclusion-driven, equitable and high-quality education across this Colombian department.
To implement this initiative, we will organize and hold training seminars at each education institution with the aim of supporting the creation or consolidation of the quality committee, the design and formulation of action plans centered on the Institutional Improvement Plan, and the academic management work progress based on five key indicators: promotion, retention, coverage, follow up to alumni and school climate. Additionally, we will promote the strategic projection of school management for the 2025-2028 period, looking to establish a sustainable approach that produces a long-term positive impact on education quality.
We are convinced that together we will be able to transform realities and offer students the opportunity to develop their potential to the maximum extent.
We will continue working together on furthering initiatives that allow building high-quality
education that benefits everyone.
