We maintain our commitment to education and to Colombia’s development

We awarded the first 30 Nutresa – Icesi Scholarships from a total of 226 that we will grant over the next five years, with an investment of COP 16,000 million. This initiative will allow students from socioeconomic levels 1, 2 and 3 of the Regions of Valle del Cauca and Cauca to have access to great quality higher education in the city of Cali.

Through Nutresa – Icesi Scholarships we offer 90% coverage of the cost of tuition, as well as academic support and mentoring from the university.

The selected students will qualify for undergraduate degrees in Economics and International Business, Computer Engineering, Law, International Marketing, Advertising, Industrial Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Smart Energy Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, and Psychology.

This first cohort is made up of 62% women, and all the young participants come from 14 municipalities in 5 departments, mainly located in southwestern Colombia. These young beneficiaries have achieved outstanding academic grades and some of them obtained Saber 11 test results above 400 points.

With this program, we reaffirm our commitment to developing young people’s capabilities, seeking to train new leaders who are committed to society, promoting equity and equal opportunities and access to higher education for the Colombian youth.
